How to use Base64 Encoder and Decoder
Paste ordinary text and choose Encode, or paste standard padded Base64 and choose Decode. The tool supports Spanish accents and other valid Unicode text. Copy the result or download a plain text version.
A practical example
“Hola” becomes “SG9sYQ==”. Accented text such as “España” survives an encode/decode round trip because UTF-8 is used.
What to check before using the result
Base64 is an encoding, not encryption. It does not protect a secret. This text tool accepts the standard alphabet and valid padding; Base64URL and arbitrary binary files are not supported. Whitespace in the encoded input is ignored, while malformed padding and invalid UTF-8 are rejected.
Frequently asked question
Can I hide a password with Base64?
No. Anyone can reverse Base64 encoding. Use it for data formatting, not for protecting passwords or private information.
